Round Pond, winner of the Acorn Stakes, worked Wednesday afternoon between the fourth and fifth races at Philadelphia Park in preparation for her next start, the July 16 Delaware Oaks.

A John Servis-trained daughter of Awesome Again, Round Pond worked six furlongs in 1:10.54 under assistant trainer Maureen Donnelly. Over a muddy track, she carved out fractions of 23.38, 46.67, and 58.60 before galloping out seven furlongs in 1:26.39.

Round Pond, who has won the Grade 2 Fantasy and the Honeybee at Oaklawn in addition to the Grade 1 Acorn, figures to be the favorite in the Grade 3, $500,000 Oaks.
