Rosecroft: Nobody Knows It stays undefeated by winning her Maryland Sire Stakes final
Two-year-old trotting filly Nobody Knows It improved to eight-for-eight in her career with a 1:56 2/5 victory in one of eight $100,000 Maryland Sire Stakes finals on Sunday night at Rosecroft Raceway.
Driven by Corey Callahan, Nobody Knows It led through fractions of 28 3/5, 58 and 1:27 on her way to the win. That's It For You (Russell Foster) went three-wide from fourth going to three-quarters to take over the pocket spot on the final bend and did gain ground on her Richard Hans stablemate, but came up a length short at the wire. Bootsy Gum Drops (William Carter) was third.
Hans also bred and owns Nobody Knows It, a daughter of Betting Gangster S. She's earned $151,625 to go with her undefeated record and paid $2.10 to win.
Hans was also first and second in the 3-year-old colt and gelding trot as Booger Bear (Johnathan Ahle) was a 1:56 4/5 victor on the front-end over Y'all Got No Shot (Foster). Convicted Criminal (Brandon Givens) got third.
A Hans homebred gelding by Yall Beneath Me, Booger Bear has a summary of 8-5-1 from 15 efforts, has pocketed $216,208 and returned $3.40 to win.
