DEL MAR, Calif. – California-based 3-year-old sprinter Collusion Illusion will have a new rider when he ships to Saratoga for the Grade 1 H. Allen Jerkens, a sprint for 3-year-olds on Aug. 1. That is, if Collusion Illusion ships at all. “I’ve given the call to Joel Rosario, but who knows where we’re going to be in a couple weeks,” trainer Mark Glatt said. “It just seems like it’s getting harder and harder to travel.” Flavien Prat rode Collusion Illusion to victory in the Grade 3 Lazaro Barrera Stakes on June 20 at Santa Anita, but potential travel restrictions and riding conflicts may prevent Prat from leaving Del Mar. The $100,000 Shared Belief for 3-year-old Derby candidates also is Aug. 1 at Del Mar. The other option for Collusion Illusion is to stay home and face older Del Mar sprinters in the Grade 1 Bing Crosby Stakes on Aug. 1. Glatt also will nominate Law Abidin Citizen for that race. Collusion Illusion has won 4 of 5 starts, including the Grade  2 Best Pal Stakes last summer at Del Mar. :: Play Del Mar with DRF! Visit our Del Mar shop for DRF PPs, Picks and Clocker Reports:
