Notorious Flirt wins a Dec. 28 maiden race at Aqueduct Racetrack

OZONE PARK, N.Y. - Trainer Linda Rice has seven of the 54 horses entered on Thursday’s eight-race Aqueduct card, including the uncoupled entry of Notorious Flirt and Power Up Paynter in the featured first-level allowance for New York-bred 3-year-olds going six furlongs.

Notorious Flirt is dropping into allowance company after finishing fourth in the Rego Park Stakes here on Jan. 12. Prior to that, Notorious Flirt won a statebred maiden race going 6 1/2 furlongs at 15-1 in his first try on a fast dirt track.

Power Up Paynter makes his 3-year-old debut after winning a maiden $40,000 claimer to end his 2-year-old season. Jose Lezcano rides from post 3.

Impetuous, trained by Mark Casse, is coming off a 4 1/4-length maiden victory in the slop and figures to be the primary speed from the rail under Dylan Davis. Mission Wrapitup showed speed in his most recent start, but trainer Bruce Brown is removing blinkers for this spot.

Forever Wicked is a two-time winner cutting back to six furlongs after winning twice going a mile for Darmindra Dharamjit.
