Retama Park: Valid Lil easily

Valid Lil rolled to a 3 1/4-length win in Saturday's $45,000 New Braunfels at Retama Park. Fresa Margarita closed for second, while it was another length back to Gleaming Elegance.

Valid Lil ($4.40), ridden by Bobby Walker Jr. for trainer Bret Calhoun, covered the six furlongs for fillies and mares in 1:09.85 in winning her first stakes.
