HOT SPRINGS, Ark. - The undefeated stakes winner Olivia Twist is settled in at Oaklawn Park and pointing for the track’s stakes series for 3-year-old fillies, according to her trainer, Todd Fincher.

Oaklawn's first Kentucky Oaks points race is the $200,000 Martha Washington on Jan. 28. Oaklawn’s other points races for the Kentucky Oaks are the Grade 3, $300,000 Honeybee on Feb. 25 and the Grade 3, $600,000 Fantasy on April 1.

Olivia Twist is 3 for 3 and on Dec. 17 she won the $100,000 Trapeze at a mile at Remington Park. Prior to that, she won two other races at Remington, a maiden special weight at five furlongs and an entry-level allowance route by 15 lengths.

Olivia Twist is a daughter of Mshawish. Olivia Twist’s dam, Twinkling, also produced Skippylongstocking, the West Virginia Derby winner who on Saturday captured the Grade 3 Harlan’s Holiday at Gulfstream Park.

Chris Coleman owns Olivia Twist, as well as another quality 3-year-old filly in Christian d’Oro. Christian d’Oro is by Bolt d’Oro and won a maiden special weight by 6 ¾ lengths Dec. 5 at Zia.

Fincher said Olivia Twist was sent to Oaklawn to split up the Coleman-owned fillies, with Christian d’Oro now based at Sunland Park.

Fincher also trains the 3-year-old filly Flying Connection, who is based at Sunland. She won the Zia Park Princess in November with a Beyer Speed Figure of 83 for covering six furlongs in 1:08.26. She won a maiden special weight by more than 15 lengths at Zia.

Fincher trains Flying Connection for Brad King, Jim Cone, Robert L. Lewis, Suzanne Kirby and Randy Andrews. She is a daughter of Nyquist and the mare Free Flying Soul, who won four stakes and earned $423,177.
