Remington Park track report

Remington Park will begin offering 10-cent superfecta wagering on its live races Friday in response to requests from patrons. The track is racing Quarter Horses, and the meet will continue through June 5.

The reduced-price wager will be available on straight bets, as well as wheel and box combinations. Remington will also accept 10-cent superfecta wagering on incoming simulcasts from tracks that offer the wager, including Lone Star Park near Dallas, a sister track that, like Remington, is owned by Magna Entertainment.

* R.D. Logan, former general manager of Remington Park, has been named executive director of the Oklahoma Thoroughbred Association. He will replace Melissa Sykes, who is leaving the post to return to Florida. Logan is a past president of the OTA.

* The OTA has announced that the annual Oklahoma Classics program will be held at Remington Park on Sept. 24.
