Redneck Humor streaking into Arapahoe Park Sprint

Redneck Humor will be seeking his fourth consecutive stakes win Monday when he makes his first start in Colorado in the $30,000 Arapahoe Park Sprint. He is part of a seven-horse field that includes his Grade 3-winning stablemate, Toews On Ice.

The Arapahoe Park Sprint is for 3-year-olds and up at five furlongs. Others making up the field include Z Smoking Gun, a local stakes winner, and You Bettor Beware, whose last five wins have come in races open to Quarter Horses.

Redneck Humor and Toews On Ice both invade from New Mexico for trainer Justin Evans.

◗ Redneck Humor will be cutting back from 6 1/2 furlongs, and Evans sharpened his skills for the task with a three-eighths work from the gate May 22. The horse went in a bullet 36.40 seconds at SunRay Park.

◗ Redneck Humor, who has five stakes wins, is a half-brother to Ballet Diva, a multiple stakes winner who earned $482,945. Redneck Humor has won 11 of 25 starts for earnings of $341,720.
