Red Mile: Tim Tetrick makes 14,000th trip to the winner's circle

Tim Tetrick became just the seventh North American-based driver to have 14,000 career victories when he took Monday's first event at The Red Mile with 3-year-old trotting filly Reload in 1:54 4/5.

Reload, a daughter of Greenshoe bred by Al Libfeld, brushed from third to first before the half and went on to tally by 3 3/4 lengths for co-owner/trainer Tony Dinges and co-owner Dein Spriggs.

Tetrick, who will turn 43 on November 22, joins Dave Palone, Tony Morgan, Aaron Merriman, Herve Filion, Cat Manzi and David Miller in the exclusive 14,000 win club.

His earnings of $274.4 million and change are third all-time, trailing only John Campbell and Miller.
