Leading Lady won for the second straight time in the Kentucky Championship Series after she captured Wednesday's $80,000 flight for 2-year-old filly trotters at The Red Mile.

Carve (Andy McCarthy) cut fractions of 28 4/5, 58 2/5 and 1:27, but Leading Lady (Yannick Gingras), who got away fifth and then followed Days Away (Jason Bartlett) from second-over, rallied with a 26 3/5 final kicker, which was good enough to both get by Carve and hold off a charging Jailbird Jog (Tim Tetrick) by a neck in 1:54. Carve was third.

A daughter of Walner, Leading Lady is trained by Nancy Takter for Black Horse Racing, Marvin Katz and Herb Liverman. Bred by Marvin and Lynn Katz with Al Libfeld, Leading Lady has three wins from four starts, has earned $92,500 and paid $3.92 to win.

Three $30,000 Kentucky Commonwealth Series splits took place on Monday's card, and the winners were:

--Lindy In My Dreams (by Ready For Moni and bred by owner Lindy Farms, paid $2.94 to win) in 1:56 for driver Dexter Dunn and trainer Domenico Cecere;

--Lainey W (by Bar Hopping and bred by Kentuckiana Farms and Perry Soderberg, paid $3.20 to win) in 1:53 4/5 for driver Scott Zeron, trainer Marcus Melander and owners Brittany Farms and Marvin and Lynn Katz;

--Cher Hill (by Muscle Mass and bred by owner Tom Hill, paid $9.20 to win) in 1:54 1/5 for driver Scott Zeron and trainer Gregg McNair.
