Red Mile: Championship card on Sunday to feature guaranteed wagers

The Red Mile announced Wednesday an ‘all stakes’ 20-Cent Pick 8 wager has been added to the special Sunday afternoon (Sept 16) card.

The wager will begin on race three and cover all eight $250,000 KYSS Finals slated as part of the Fayette County Fair program, with live racing beginning at 3 p.m. Track officials, in conjunction with the United States Trotting Association’s ‘Strategic Wagering Program,’ have added a $10,000 guarantee to the total pool.

The wager will feature a horseplayer friendly takeout of only 15 percent. The wager will feature a mandatory payout, so the entire net pool will be paid out to whomever has the most winners if no fans select all eight winners.

The Sunday card also features a $5,000 guaranteed Pick 4.
