Recepta will launch season in Keeneland's Jenny Wiley

Recepta, who suffered a narrow loss in the Grade 1 Matriarch at Del Mar in her final start of 2015, has remained in training at age 5 and is scheduled to return to the races in the spring at Keeneland, according to trainer Jimmy Toner.
“She got six weeks off after the Matriarch, and she’s training here now,” Toner said at Palm Meadows. “I’m hoping to have her ready for the Jenny Wiley.”
The Grade 1, $350,000 Jenny Wiley is April 16, the second Saturday of the Keeneland meet. Recepta won an allowance race at Keeneland last April when returning from a nine-month layoff to kick off her 2015 campaign. She also finished third in the 2014 Appalachian Stakes at Keeneland in her first start at age 3.
Recepta, by Speightstown, has won five times in 13 starts. Her biggest victory came in the Grade 3 Noble Damsel last September at Belmont Park.
