Finish: 1st by 5 3/4
Beyer: 87
Triple Crown nominee made a splash in his debut, winning over 1 1/16 miles against a number of more experienced rivals. He led throughout and had more through the stretch. Tenfold is bred to be a good one as a son of Curlin and the Tapit mare Temptress, who hails from the female family of multiple Grade 1 winner Possibly Perfect.
SHANGHAI TARIFF

She put it all together in the fourth start of her career. She was part of the pace in the $50,000 maiden-claiming sprint for 3-year-old fillies, then separated herself from her rivals in the stretch in a dominant performance. The start was her first for a tag and the first in which she raced without blinkers.
MALIBU PRO
Trainer: Mac Robertson
Last race: Feb. 11, 5th
Finish: 6th by 28
Beyer: 46
He has caught nothing but sloppy tracks since October and might be well served with a fast strip since the last time he ran over such a surface, he earned a Beyer Speed Figure of 102. The conditions for his last start were particularly demanding, as it was sleeting on and off for the 1 1/2-mile marathon starter, for which he was well regarded at 3-1.
