He dueled through quick fractions and held for second to a quality winner in the $125,000 Gazebo for 3-year-olds, which went in a stakes-record time of 1:09.20. One start prior, he stepped outside of the Louisiana-bred ranks for the first time and defeated a nice group in the $50,000 Space City Stakes at Sam Houston. He also was nice and composed when in the infield for “riders-up” at Oaklawn.
