Rainbow Pick Six pool to be paid out Sunday
The 20-cent Rainbow Pick Six will have a mandatory payout Sunday, and the pool could reach $4 million, according to track executives.
The Rainbow Pick Six has a carryover of $465,407 for Friday’s program. The carryover is likely to exceed $550,000 by Sunday if the bet is not hit on Friday or Saturday.

The entire Rainbow Pick Six pool is paid only if there is one winning ticket, or on days with mandatory payouts. Sunday, the bet paid $4,406 to 38 tickets.
Attendance regulations in effect
Santa Anita officials do not expect significant changes in the allowed number of spectators at the meeting, which closes June 20.
The track is allowed by county government health officials to accommodate 10,000 to 12,000 fans during the pandemic, according to general manager Nate Newby. Regulations require customers to be spaced apart in the grandstand or at tables.
“They keep raising the capacity percentage, but we have the same set of rules regarding distancing,” he said.
The track is expecting a large audience on Saturday in conjunction with the Preakness Stakes simulcast from Pimlico.
Santa Anita resumed allowing customers in early April and drew announced crowds of 8,246 for the Santa Anita Derby program on April 3 and 9,659 on May 3, the day of the Kentucky Derby. Sunday’s crowd was 4,384.
To attend, customers must purchase tickets online through the track’s website – Santaanita.com – and cannot buy walk-up tickets at the box office.
State government officials are hoping to expand capacity at sporting events as early as June 15, but Newby said it is unclear whether Los Angeles County, where Santa Anita is located, will follow suit.
Newby said he is hopeful the autumn meeting, which begins Oct. 1, can be conducted in a normal fashion.
