Rainbow Futurity trials draw 300 Quarter Horses over two days

A total of 300 Quarter Horses are set to battle for 10 spots in the starting gate for the $1 million Rainbow Futurity during trials Friday and Saturday at Ruidoso Downs.

The track will put on 15 trials each afternoon, with a special first post of 12:30 Mountain. The horses with the five fastest times from both cards will advance to the Rainbow on July 24.
