Rainbow 6 pool guaranteed at $350,000 for Saturday

The Rainbow 6 jackpot pool will be guaranteed at $350,000 on Saturday, Gulfstream Park announced. The jackpot has not been hit for 16 race dates, since July 16, when it paid $164,483.

The Rainbow 6 sequence will run on races 6-11 on Saturday. It opens with an optional $62,500 claimer for older sprinters and closes with a Lasix-free sprint for 2-year-old fillies that drew 12.

The jackpot is paid out when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. If there is no single winning ticket, 70 percent of the pool is paid to bettors with tickets with the most winners, and 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.

There were multiple tickets with six winners Friday, and they paid $23,433.
