Racing-themed photos to be exhibited at National Museum of Racing
An exhibit of racing-themed photographs by professional and amateur photographers is scheduled to open on Jan. 20 at the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., the museum announced on Monday.
The exhibit features 45 photographs from 33 individual photographers, culled from a total submission of 159 photos received by the museum after requesting racing-themed photos last year for the planned showing. A panel of judges representing “both the racing and arts communities” selected the photographs that will appear in the exhibit, the museum said.
The exhibition will run through March 10. In addition, the photos appearing in the exhibit, plus 26 additional photos, will be made available for viewing on the museum’s website after the show opens on Jan. 20, the museum said.
