Rachel Alexandra 8-5 early on Preakness Day

Kentucky Oaks winner Rachel Alexandra was favored at odds of 8-5 early on Saturday's Preakness Stakes card at Pimlico. Kentucky Derby upsetter Mine That Bird was the co-second choice at 7-1 along with Derby runner-up Pioneerof the Nile.

Next in the betting at 9-1 were Friesan Fire, 18th in the Derby for trainer Larry Jones, and Preakness new shooter Big Drama.
