Queen's Plate 2021 pedigree profile: Haddassah

Haddassah
Air Force Blue – Lady Haddassah, by Whywhywhy
Bred in Ontario by Al and Bill Ulwelling
The Canadian Triple Crown demands versatility, with 3-year-olds running on synthetic, dirt, and turf during the series. Haddassah, one of the favorites on Daily Racing Form’s Queen’s Plate Watch, brings a versatile pedigree to the start of the series. He is by a young stallion from a versatile sireline, and his dam also did solid work on multiple surfaces.
Haddassah is from the first crop of Air Force Blue, a European champion juvenile who never raced on dirt and who is already the sire of turf stakes winners Chief Little Hawk and Fighting Force. Air Force Blue also has produced multiple winners on the dirt, including stakes-placed Twilight Blue.
Air Force Blue is by the versatile sire War Front, whose first American classic winner, 2019 Preakness Stakes victor War of Will, also was a Grade 1 winner on turf.
