Qualifiers set for Los Al $2M race

FDD Dynasty, No Secrets Here, and Jess You and I - all winners of seven-figure futurities this year - are the three fastest qualifiers to the $2 million Los Alamitos Two Million Futurity on Dec. 8 following qualifying trials held at Los Alamitos last Friday night.

The Los Alamitos Two Million Futurity, the richest race in track history, will mark the first meeting of the three leading 2-year-old Quarter Horses in the nation.

FDD Dynasty, who won the $1.1 million Ed Burke Million Futurity at Los Alamitos on June 24, set the fastest qualifying time, winning the first of 10 divisions. FDD Dynasty ran 400 yards in 19.475 seconds.

No Secrets Here, the winner of the $1.9 million All American Futurity at Ruidoso Downs in September, won the seventh division in 19.490 seconds.

Jess You and I, unbeaten in five starts, including the $1.22 million Golden State Million Futurity on Nov. 4, won the fifth division in 19.535 seconds.

The other qualifiers are The Crawfish, Blues Girl Too, First Down Morn, Luv This Bar, A Stoli Mate, Quiero Separarte, and Trisk.

Paul Jones led all trainers with three qualifiers - No Secrets Here, The Crawfish, and Trisk. Blues Girl Too, second in the Golden State and Ed Burke futurities, is the lone filly in the field.
