Pyrite Blue Magna made it two in a row, winning the $50,000 Kevin Goemmer Tah Dah at Belterra Park on Sunday afternoon. Trained by Miguel Feliciano, Pyrite Blue Magna was kept just off the pace by jockey Ricardo Feliciano. The 2-year-old Ohio-bred filly had to overcome a five-length deficit in the stretch and drew off to a three-length victory over the favorite Justalittlesmoke, who settled for second. It was nine lengths back to Heat Transfer, who closed for third. Trained by Larry Rivelli, Heat Transfer stumbled at the start and grabbed a quarter and was visibly hurt after the race. The running time for the six furlongs over a muddy sealed track was 1:11.56, and Pyrite Blue Magna returned $12.00 to win.
