Prairie Meadows: An upset by Abounding Truth

Jack Coady, Jr./Coady Photogrpahy Abounding Truth wins the $50,000 Prairie Rose Stakes at Prairie Meadows on Saturday.
Abounding Truth ($34.20) returned from a year layoff to score a 1 3/4-length victory over the 6-5 favorite, Wildwood Royal, in the $50,000 Prairie Rose Stakes at Prairie Meadows.
Abounding Truth, ridden by Glenn Corbett for trainer Dick Clark, stopped the clock in 1:09.31 for the six furlongs.
* Just Michel ($4.60) rallied five wide through the stretch and drew off to 2 1/4-length victory over Bubble Dourbon in the $40,000 Angenora Stakes at Thistledown.
* Up 'n Blumin scored her second stakes win of the season with a gutty nose victory over the favorite, Burning Memories, in the $26,500 Al Swihart Memorial Handicap at Fonner Park. Up 'n Blumin returned $8.20 as the 3-1 second choice.
