Prairie Meadows: Asyouwish upsets

Asyouwish ($23) dueled inside 1-5 favorite Miss Macy Sue around the turn before putting that rival away in the final sixteenth and drawing clear for a two-length victory in the $40,000 Iowa State Fair Stakes at Prairie Meadows.

Jockey Ken Shino guided Asyouwish to the victory as the pair covered six furlongs in 1:10.22. Miss Macy Sue held the place.

Frank Kirby trains Asyouwish, a 4-year-old daughter of Pioneering who scored her first stakes win.
