Spurred by a Pick 5 carryover that brought in over $200K in new money to start the card, Pompano Park posted back-to-back million-dollar handle nights for the first time in its 57-year history. After bettors wagered $1.33 million on Monday night's 13-race card, falling about $100,000 shy of all-time Pompano handle record, the harness racing faithful were back out in full force on Tuesday evening sending $1.16 million through the windows on the track's 10-race program. A host of skilled handicappers took down the Pick 5 for $10,028.90 and one lucky player scored the entire Pick 6 pool for $22,333.80 on Tuesday's program. The track will seek the $1 million handle threepeat on Wednesday when it hosts an 8-race card highlighted by a $12,795 Pentafecta carryover in the fourth race.  First race post-time is 7:20 PM.
