Yo Tillie ran her 2025 record to six-for-six and picked up her first Grade 1 victory in Saturday afternoon's $250,000 Delmonica Hanover for 3-year-old trotting fillies at Pocono Downs at Mohegan Pennsylvania. Her final time of 1:51 2/5 was a stakes and track record. Driven by Todd McCarthy, Yo Tillie started from post six after the pre-race scratch of What A Bid Hanover but had to work past the 27 2/5 quarter to wrestle the top spot away from Delaney Hanover (Scott Zeron). Yo Tillie then got to the half in 55 4/5 before she had to deal with a first-over attack out of third from Hambletonian Oaks champion Conversano (James MacDonald). Conversano's bid stalled out before the 1:23 2/5 three-quarters, and Yo Tillie kept control around the final bend as well as Delaney Hanover waited for clearance. Delaney Hanover would find space in the passing lane in the stretch, but Yo Tillie was up to the task and fended her off by three-quarters of a length with Hangover (Dexter Dunn) third after she tracked Conversano's cover. Torrisi (Tim Tetrick) and Conversano rounded out the top five. "These fillies are all so good, so you've got to respect every one of them," remarked winning trainer/co-owner Andrew Harris after the race. "It's a little nerve-racking when you know you've got to push out. When What A Bid Hanover scratched, the six-hole's not a big deal at all. "She's actually two fingers now. Actually she sometimes makes us nervous cause she's so relaxed. She's just a true professional and she knows what she's doing. She'll let us know when we need to pull that ear hood off, but right now she's good enough to do it the way she is." By Tactical Landing and bred by Gbw Breeding Farms Inc. and Black Creek Farm, Yo Tillie is co-owned by Harris with partners William Pollock and Bruce Areman. She has an overall record of 14-1-1 from 18 appearances, has banked $592,383 and returned $2.80 to win. ► Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter R Dutchess (Tetrick) took the lead going to the 55 4/5 half and went on to a 1:52 2/5 win in the $125,000 Consolation I, defeating Shes A Shoe In (MacDonald) by five lengths.
