Pocono: Miller, Schadel triple in Pennsylvania Fair finals
Pocono Downs at Mohegan Pennsylvania played host to this year's Pennsylvania Fair finals on Monday afternoon with eight $25,000 championships for 2- and 3-year-olds of both sexes and gaits.
Driver Andy Miller and trainer Cody Schadel had a hat trick, winning with 2-year-old pacing filly Showboat Hanover (by Betting Line and bred by Hanover Shoe Farms) in 1:55 for owners Todd Schadel, Christine Schadel and Caitlin Solt, 3-year-old trotting filly Quarantina (by International Moni and bred by owners Todd and Christine Schadel) in 1:58 and 2-year-old gelding pacer Ante Up Hanover (by Betting Line and bred by Hanover Shoe Farms) in 1:53 2/5 for owners Christine and Todd Schadel.
Breeder/owner/trainer Roger Hammer also had multiple victories, taking the 3-year-old male trot with Battin Athousand (by Fordham Road) in 1:57 2/5 with Matt Kakaley in the bike and the 2-year-old filly trot with Little Town Road (by Fordham Road) in 1:59 with Brady Brown doing the driving.

Rounding out the PA Fairs champions were 2-year-old gelding trotter Thaler Hanover (by International Moni and bred by Hanover Shoe Farms) in 1:58 4/5 for driver Shawn Johnston, co-owner/trainer Gary Johnston and co-owner Abigail Wright, 3-year-old pacing gelding Watch U R Back (by Pacific Renegade and bred by Lawrence Smith Estate) in 1:54 2/5 for driver Braxten Boyd, trainer Robert Krenitsky Jr. and owner John Kreiser and 3-year-old filly pacer Little Lady J (by A Rocknroll Dance and bred by Justin Lebo) in 1:54 2/5 for driver Jeremy Indof and owner/trainer Mitchell York.
