Pocono: Horses to watch from September 5 - September 8

Saturday, September 5
BRANDON HANOVER (CLM25000) sat to the rear, finished with a full head of steam but had his stride too late.
ROCKAPELO (NW175000) set a quick clip and was gasping late getting nailed nearing the wire.
J M MANDAMIN (NW6) brushed as the speed settled and was a handy winner.
DREAMS BEACHBOY (NW12000) came uncovered at 17-1, wore down the favorite but was nailed late by the pocket-sitter.
Sunday, September 6
ACTON HANOVER (NW4) sat pocket and rolled by the odds-on pacesetter in solid score.
P L NOTSONICE (NW4) grinded up gaining cover in the final turn, closed gamely but the pace-setting favorite had enough to hold.
GALARINA (NW3000M) was out of it coming to the third call, rallied and was guided through some traffic, managed to tip out and closed gamely.
TULLOW N (NW3000) was absolutely brutalized on the front end and tired but gamed out second place to the tripped-out favorite.
Monday, September 7
BELLA BELLINI (NW1FM) left to the top, yielded, broke and took back, came back uncovered chasing the prohibitive favorite, tucked passing the third panel and was second best on the track and on the board. Will be tough if she stays flat in next.
TOTAL DIVA (NW3000) beaten favorite had far to come and rallied well the last three-eighths.
LOOKINFORADVENTURE (CLM12500) was absolutely nowhere until the third panel, followed wide in the final turn and finished with a full head of steam to just miss on a day when speed was holding.
CANBEC KINGKAZIMIR (CLM12500) left to the top, yielded and was badly shuffled, rallied inside and was too close in the photo to ignore in next.
SWEET TALKIN SATIN (CLM10000) made a strong move passing the third panel and tucked the open pocket but the winner had gotten away. Beaten favorite can atone in quick order.
Tuesday, September 8
JACK RULES (NW6000) lost the winner's cover as the lead changed, rallied gamely chasing the even-money favorite and was a nose short at 8-1.
FINLANDIA (NW2/2YOF) was deep on the rail, tipped in the final turn, rallied wide but just missed.
ZAPACA (NW2) tucked early, pulled passing to the third panel and won going away.
DAVID THE SAINT (NW3000) tucked early, pulled uncovered and challenged the pace, wore down the speed and held versus the late-rushing favorite but was headed by the pocket horse.
