STAG PARTY (CLM25/30000) was parked to the lead and that was the only problem. Vet wired the field impressively and got claimed....again.
SPLASH BROTHER (NW15500) second favorite wired the field and held well besting the pocket sitting favorite.
BIG EGO (NW2500) sat in, finished well between horses at nearly 50-1 and would be no surprise.
BETTORS DESIRE (NW2500) second choice was third over the final turn, followed wide in poor flow and went by a few foes. Could get it right in next.
CONGRESSIONAL (NW20500) was looped and parked, challenged to the lane before tiring and could get luckier in next.
IMGOINGTOJACKSON (W6-8) was parked to the lead, set a pressed pace and was a handy winner after a 7-month layoff.
Monday, September 7
ALWAYS BE CITY (CLM75/10000FM) tucked early, challenged from the half to the lane and gamed out the win. Got claimed and should be a major threat in next.
WATER TORPEDO (NW11500) yielded and was shuffled, sat 4th on the rail heading home and flashed some good late trot to be second best.
SHEIKH YABOOTY N (CLMHCP75/1000M) was a nose short of being the only front-stepping winner on the card. Beaten favorite was claimed and should atone in next.
STARSTRUCK DREAMER (PaSS/CHAMP) favorite went down the road to the last step getting picked off by the pocket sitting well-bet second favorite on a tiring track.
YANKEE BOSS (PaSS/CHAMP) was third with late rush as the 4 Svanstedt trainees picked up the top 3 checks.

SIP OF BOURBON (CLM7500) second choice went down the road losing on the wire to the pocket sitting favorite. Got claimed and gives it another try.
JACKIE MOON (CLM7500) favorite yielded for the pocket and got up in the last step to nail the win off the above mentioned battler. Also got claimed and should come out ready to roll.
CAUGHT SPEEDING (NW1/FM) 2YO wired the field in handy win and should have a future.
SHOOBIE (2YOF) yielded, retook, put away a challenger and won looking like she had plenty left.
KOUNTRY INFUSION (2YO) put away one challenger but was necked on the wire by the late-closing favorite.
