CENTURY CHURCHILL (NW9000) slipped wide late in the final turn, finished well but had too far to come.
BUDDY HILL (NW6100) wired the field impressively and can take more.
CARRACO HANOVER (NW6100) yielded twice, sat pocket and was second best.
Sunday, September 29
TS ELECTRIC (CLMHCP10/12500) tucked early, rallied well and was second best to the odds-on favorite.
JACKS SHADOW N (NW4) sat last, rallied late with solid pace and earns a look in next.
MACH WEST (NW4) trailed to the late, finished full of pace and missed the whole thing by a neck or two at over 60-1.
MAJOR OFFENSE (NW3000) tucked early, pulled uncovered to the half, challenged the speed, wore him down but was outkicked by the pocket-sitting favorite.
Monday, September 30
ASWWELL HANOVER (NW1FM) finished strong from 3rd over at 20-1 and bears watching.
HARPSWELL (NW1FM) brushed to the lead, met pressure and weakened. Beaten favorite should atone over a fast track.
DARBIES IDEAL (NW2/2YO) went to the top, yielded, got shuffled, brushed back to the top and weakened in the late stages.
BEN ROCKIN (NW2) rushed to the top, yielded, retook, met pressure, dug in but tired and was nailed on the wire by the late-closing odds-on favorite.
Tuesday, October 1
HURRICANE CALLEIGH (NW3200M) rallied 5-wide from 4th over in solid late-moving effort and should get luckier with better trip.
DELCREST MAGICSTAR (NW3000) won handily in wire-to-wire score as the odds-on favorite and can win again if she stays flat.
SIMPLY VOLO (NW9250) rallied well through the lane from third over at 25-1 and should not be ignored.
PEMBROKE JOEY (NW3100) was parked the mile, chased uncovered and was done heading home. Could surprise with a less taxing trip.
YUPPER (NW3100) rallied wide the final turn going around expiring horse, rallied gamely but was outkicked by rail-riding winner.
