Saturday, September 20 ITS SATURDAY NIGHT (NW12500) trailed to the final turn, pulled third over, rallied wide and was moving well at the wire to earn a look in next outing. TWICE THE ICE (CLM25000) was parked to the lead, yielded, sat pocket and gamed out second place. MANOLETE (NW8) one of five winners on the card for Brett Beckwith, tucked early, pulled past the half, rushed up, challenged and won going away. Should get another win or two. MAMMY WATA (AHDC) challenged the odds-on pacesetter and was a game 2nd at nearly 10-1 last time around the oval. BIG NUDGE (AHDC) was parked the mile, challenged the favorite to the last step, wore that one down but was nailed on the wire by the 4-wide, very fast-closing winner. Monday, September 22 YOUNONOTHINJON (NW3600M) challenged the odds-on favorite at 57-1, wore her down but was nailed by the pocket sitting second favorite. GABRIAL (NW2/2-3YO) sat pocket and the nailed the win in his racing debut. DARLINS ANGEL (NW1FM) dominated in a front-stepping romp for trainer Cano and driver Tritton and can do it again. STONECOLDTREACHERY (NW5500M) was the second winner on the card for trainer Cano with driver Tritton and this one was a handy front-stepping winner. RUN BABY (NW1500M) rallied wide at 19-1 and finished well but was third at the end....but then every race was won by the pacesetter or the pocket horse so late speed must be noted. FANSVILLE (NW5FM) yielded, retook, met pressure but drew off the way a prohibitive favorite should. Tuesday, September 23 KOVU AS (NW5500) rallied late from third over as the second favorite and could be there if in gear earlier. IDEAL BEAUTY QUEEN  (NW2/2-3YOF) finished wide and fast to nail it late and should be able to do it again. ROBERT MICHAEL (NW4) pulled to the third call, rallied and got up for second showing good late trot and bears watching. SHINING MOMENT (NW3) followed wide, stormed home and won going away with quick last panel. DR M (CLMHCP125/15000) sat to the final turn, slipped out, rallied gamely and nailed it on the wire. Got claimed by a crew that claimed a couple of horses on the card and should come out firing.
