Pocono: Horses to watch from October 27 - October 30

Ken Walters|Nov 01, 2018

Saturday, October 27

STAY HUNGRY (INV) well-bet second choice was parked to the lead, set a hard pressed pace when attacked by the odds on favorite and tired.

JIMMY FREIGHT (INV) was parked to the top, yielded, got shuffled, pulled and challenged the top one to the lane and drew away in big effort.

WHATS THE WORD (INV) was parked to the lead, set his own pace and was a strong winner.

EXARCH (INV) took the top, yielded and was second best at every call.

Sunday, October 28

R BAZINGA (NW1) was a twinkle in no one's eyes until heading home when he accelerated and blew by like foes were standing still. Can take another with similar late rush.

ST LADS FLIRT (CLM10000) tucked, tipped to the three-quarters, came uncovered with strong finish and can take another so do not ignore.

CFOUR PRO (NW1) was second in solid uncovered effort in latest.

POLAK A (CLMHCP20/25000) was all out in front-end win that was Hunter Oakes first driving victory.

TAROT (NW14500) was second best in front-end effort to the uncovered favorite and earns a look in next race or two.

Monday, October 29

WINDSONG JACK (NW3000) left to the top, yielded, sat pocket but was shuffled out when the leader caved, found room inside in the lane with strong finish but had far to come. Beaten favorite should get it done in next.

GUSTAVO FRING (NW3000) was wide a long way, rallied gamely, had aim in the lane but tired.

GOLDEN TRICKS (NW2FM) brushed to the half, grabbed the top and was an impressive winner.

BAY MEADOWS (NW2) sat to the rear, rallied wide through the lane and should find a field to beat soon.

Tuesday, October 30

SPOILERONTHEBEACH (NW4) rallied wide the final turn to clear poor cover and finished steadily at 17-1.

FAMILY ROLL CALL (NW9200M) was very wide into the lane from 3rd over as cover stalled and closed with good energy.

TRUTH AND LIBERTY (NW20000FM) trailed to the final turn, wheeled wide and roared home to be second best.

LUCKY RAINBOW (NW4) finished fast along the rail to nail second at 46-1 chasing the odds-on favorite to the wire.
