STOP RESISTIN (CLMHCP10/12500) was parked hard to the top, met pressure and dug in but missed it all by a neck in third-place finish.
HOW ABOUT MURPH (CLM10000M) sat to the rear and closed a ton at 36-1. Should be tighter in next.
DARTY (NW3200) left to the top and yielded to the odds-on favorite's brush. Proved second best and earns a look in next.
MYSTERY ISLAND (CLM7500) was parked the mile, challenged and tired but gamed out second place to the odds-on pacesetter.

Tuesday, October 13
AUDACIOUS WARRIOR (NW3000) raced second0-over the final turn at 40-1 and closed in gamely on the prohibitive favorite; just missed.
S CLASS (NW2) well-bet second choice tucked to the quarter, pulled to the third call, brushed to the top but was nailed by the favorite.
BEACH FIRE K (NW2) rallied with good pace from the half to the three-quarter, ducked in heading home and closed ground but suffered some broken equipment. All this at over 30-1 and he deserves a long look in next.
PRINCE OF MINTO (NW3000) sat to the lane, finished full of trot up the inside but had far to come.
