Saturday, October 4

WAITING ON A WOMAN (NW19000) had the pocket and rallied gamely but could not get to the favorite. Burke-trained and Ledford-driven battler should find a win or two in near future.

AGOOD TIME TO ROCK (NW7000) went down the road and just failed in latest.

WAKE UP PETER (NW25500) looked good brushing strongly to the lead, set a good clip and appeared to have plenty left pacing through the lane.

WORTH THE MONEY AS (NW10000) made the strongest of strong rallies and won going away at 6-1. Should find winner's circle again.

Tuesday, October 7

MARTINI MASTER (NW2/2-4YOFM) sat pocket and rallied gamely but was nailed on the wire by a strong closing upset winner.

JERSEY SHORE (NW3) finished full of pace between horses but had too far to come in last trip around the track.

TRIPLE COMMAND (NW4000) had to charge wide into the lane from too far back but closed well for third and earns a look in the next race or two.

DIAMOND AMBER (NW4000FM) was on the lead when challlenged by the brushing and crushing favorite, yielded, chased home and proved gamest in the battle for second.

Wednesday, October 8

IAINTNOMOMALUKE (CLMHCP7500/10000) chased a very sharp horse around the track with a breaker running alongside him inside the pylons. Avoided problems and closed gamely for second in good effort.

MR PARY MAN (CLMHCP7500/10000) finished full of trot but just missed to the game odds-on pacesetter.

RISE ABOVE IT (CLM5000) followed wide in the final turn, hit the lane and stepped it up with a game finish.

ARODASI (NW19000FM) finished with the best last panel on the evening en route to a game late-closing second-place finish.
