Pocono: Horses to watch from Oct. 25 - Oct. 28

Ken Walters|Oct 31, 2025

Saturday, October 25

BELMONT ROYALE N (NW9500) tucked early, raced second over to the third call, got blindswitched in the final turn, showed some late life once clear.

GAP KRONOS S (AYRES) challenged the last half and won going away in his division. Should be a major factor especially with same driver.

SPRING BLAKE (CLMHCP30/40000) tucked early, tipped into the lane and finished strong to just miss in last.

AIR FORCE HANOVER (NW9500) rallied wide the final turn, finished well and gets a long look in next.

FALKIRK (NW4) had poor cover, closed mildly and should not be overlooked in next couple of races.

Monday, October 27

TILL I COLLAPSE AS (NW5500) sat pocket, tipped and nailed it on the wire to win second straight since shipping in from Ohio.

ISABELLA BI (DAVIDA) went down the road a handy winner and is the one to beat in next.

BAMBINO JOE (CLM7500) took the lead, yielded and was shuffled, rallied late and just missed in last trip around the oval.

FOREVER A FLIRT (NW1500M0 left from the outside, sat last to the lane, rallied fast and was second on the wire.

SANDYBOOTS YANKEE (RAZZLE) won going away from second over nearly 20-1 and will be the one to fear again in the late stages next time out.

Tuesday, October 28

THE VALLEY (NW1FM) was behind a folding foe in the final turn, went wide, closed well to be second best to the pacesetting odds-on favorite and earns a look in next race or two.

GRIZZ WYLLIE (CLM12500) closed well along the rail passing all but the winner to be second best at 17-1 in last to the pacesetting odds-on favorite.

CUSTOM ( NW2/2-3YOF) won going away in last and can take another.

BOSTON ROCKS (NW3500) was a drawing winner in front-step romp and should be able to beat better in next.

HAND DOVER DAN (NW7500) went down the road at 17-1 but was nosed on the wire by the pocket sitting odds-on favorite and should be one to catch again.

ROTHKO (NW4) had the winner's cover, went wide, closed well and was second in the photo.
