HARD TO CATCH (SIMPSON) closed best of all but ran out of track in late rush.
SANTAFES APPETITE (NW1FM) finished wide and strong but too late at 34-1 in latest.
SUGE (NW2800M) put in a good uncovered effort in last at 10-1 only to be outfinished by the pocket-sitting odds-on favorite.

FAMOUS DAN (CLMHCP175/20000) tucked, sat in, bulled out a bit to escape traffic in the lane and finished with trot to be second but was taken down.
NICE STUFF (CLMHCP25/30000) sat to the final turn, tipped, hit stride late and did not miss by much.
TONY ADAMS S (SIMPSON) took the lead, yielded, sat pocket and won going away. All three divisions were won by Ake Svanstedt and all three won going away from the pocket trip.
ODDS ON HAIL MARY (SIMPSON) was by far the quickest winner of the three 3YOF divisions.
CHEZACTIC (NW4) beaten favorite got moving too late but should not be ignored in next.
Wednesday, October 18
TONY SOPRANO (NW4400) was parked the mile and challenged a long way, refused to go away and stayed to the last steps.
I CANT REFUSE (NW2FM) closed well from the back of the pack to be a closed second in the photo with the rest far back.
UPALLNIGHT HANOVER (SIMPSON) is the only Ake Svanstedt horse to lose in last 10 of his entries. She saved and rallied gamely along the rail to lose the photo. She lost to her pocket-sitting stablemate and the whole team of 10 bears watching.
BULLVILLE TERROR (NW2800) beaten favorite rallied wide the final turn but was second best through the lane.
DAPPER (NW4) was bet off the board, let the speed settle, brushed and crushed and should do it again.
