Pocono: Horses to watch from November 9 - November 12
Saturday, November 9
JONAH (CLMHCP10/125000) lost the winner's cover but rallied well and was second best by open lengths.
BE DAZZLED LOU A (NW125000) sat last to the final turn and was third over into the lane, hit the gas and just missed with big finish.
STONE HANOVER (NW9500) sat last, rallied late up the rail and could be a winner with a better trip.
MAY BABY (NW12500) left to the lead, yielded for the pocket and was second best at every call.
CHAMBA (NW6400) trotter slipped out late final turn second over and closed strong to run out of track.
Monday, November 11
GORGEIOUS VIEW (CLM7500) followed the winner, lost the cover, chased and was second best.
CAPRICIOUS ONE(NW1300) was parked to the lead and never looked back. Should be able to beat better.
ALMANAC (CLM7500) was wide the final turn, closed well and should be taken seriously in next.
M JASMINE (NW2FM) left, tucked briefly, brushed and was a handy winner.
PISCES RISING (NW2) wired the field and it was QED leaving plenty in the tank.
Tuesday, November 12
PROMINENCE (NW5) jogged by sixteen and wins more and probably more and maybe more.
BIG CITY DAISY (NW4FM) brushed to the third panel, challenged to the lane, tired. Can hit the winners circle with that move in next.
CREEDMORE (CLMHCP15/17000) raced uncovered at nearly 40-1 and was second best to the prohibitive front-stepping winner. Call me crazy but could get it done in next race or two.
IRISH COFFEE (NW4859) hit stride late and just missed from 2nd over at 13-1.
DEVILISH DREAMS (NW6400M) closed wide and well at 22-1 but was outkicked by the wider and faster stablemate. Speed ruled and late closers earn a look in next.
