Pocono: Horses to watch from November 2 - November 5
Saturday, November 2
VIRGO (NW6400) was second over to poor cover and flashed some good late pace to earn a look in next.
SHOOBEE DOO A (NW9500) wired the field in handy fashion and will be tough again in next.
BE DAZZLED LOU A (NW9500) sat in and showed some good late pace up the rail at over 16-1 to be second to the top one and bears watching.
BRECKENRIDGE (NW9500) rolled around the track and won for fun in latest.
SOUTHWIND CELSIUS (W4-7) had dead cover and roared wide, challenged, took over and took off in super score.
FADE TO LIGHT (CLMHCP10/12500) romped and one could almost hear Don Meredith singing in the final turn as the field caved.
Monday, November 4
GILLY DE VIE (NW4) sat to the third panel, tipped and closed with a rush to just miss in the photo.
SHUFFLE TO HANOVER (NW1375) made a bold wide move the final turn, loomed into the lane but tired. A better-timed move should get it done.
GOLAZO (NW1) wired the field in a romp. Granted a few foes broke but it did not matter.
PAPIS OPINION (NW1FM) was nailed in front-end effort at $.10 on the dollar in quick time. Should atone in next.
CAMERA MAN (NW2) brushed and was a handy winner. Combo of driver and trainer is always tough.
IRISH COFFEE (NW4400) showed some late life in last getting up for 3rd and bears watching.
Tuesday, November 5
HOCKEY HANOVER (CLMHCP15/175000) second choice on the board rolled along at a steady clip and crushed the favorite.
TWIN B EMPRESS (NW4FM) yielded, retook and won on the front end to record another score and should be tough again.
KING STRAIT (NW4) put up some good number en route to a front-stepping convincing victory.
RAVEN BANNER N (NW3000) was third over into the lane, rallied strong and was a closing second. Beaten favorite gets another look in next.
TWIN B ALLURE (W6700M) finished full of pace from third over at over 60-1 and will be a threat in next.
