Pocono: Horses to watch from November 19
Saturday, November 19
AP HALL OF TRIX (NW12000) put in a near-miss down the road effort at 24-1. Dug in gamely but nailed on the wire by the tripped-out pocket-sitting winner.
KING TRITON A (W4-7) went to the lead and was nailed late in USA debut and should get to the winner's circle a few times in near future.
KINGSTONS BAD BOY (CLMHCP20/25000) beaten favorite suffered a twice-wide tough trip and can atone with better trip.
TRY LINE (CLMHCP15/17500) was second over the last turn but locked in a bad blindswitch, ducked in and out in the lane. Closed well but had freed too late.
COXCOMB (CLMHCP20/25000) was parked, went wide, cleared, challenged to the last steps in tough-luck effort and should nail a win soon.
