Pocono: Horses to watch from Nov. 8 - Nov. 11

Ken Walters|Nov 14, 2025

Saturday, November 8

SUN OF A SHOW (CLMHCP20/25000) put in a good down the road effort but was nailed on the wire. Beaten favorite can atone in next.

BEN SOLO (CLM15000) won again in handy front-stepping score but this time was claimed. Should be the one to catch for new connections.

TRU BLU HYPNOTIC (CLM15000) rallied late from third over in the same race as the above. Also got claimed and will be heard from in next race or two.

SPRING BLAKE (CLMHCP30/40000) set a good clip and drew off in last. Got claimed and will win again.

OAKWOOD HEYMIKI JR (W4-6) brushed and crushed opening up with ease and was bet to the max. Should take at least one more.

Monday, November 10

IM A BIG SHOT (CLMHCP75/10000) was parked the mile, challenged to the lane, weakened but just missed second place and the beaten favorite should be the one to beat in next.

MYSTICAL WYNN (NW1500) yielded, retook and buried foes. Can beat better with similar effort.

BOSTON ROCKS (WINTER) brushed, held off the late bid of the pocket sitting foe to earn anther win.

WATERFALL (NW1500) trotter made a strong wide rally the final quarter to be second best in good effort.

MYSTERY DEAL (NW3500) trailed to the third call, rallied wide and just missed at 14-1 and gets a long look in next.

Tuesday, November 11

MOSQUITO (NW3500) sat in, got jammed up when the pocket horse quit, rallied late. Beaten favorite should atone in next.

ACE OF ACES (CLM7500) finished full of pace between horses to just miss the tripped-out pocket sitting winning favorite.

KEVLAR CCL (NW1500) had slow-moving cover, rallied late and ran out of track. Beaten prohibitive favorite should get it done in next.

SECURED (NW2) tucked to the quarter, went wide the final turn around traffic, hit a good stride to be second best. Another beaten favorite who should get it done in next try.

DOC NIXON (WINTER) sat to the rear, rallied late and passed all but the winner in effort that earns a long look in next.

BUCKEYE CASH (CLMHCP125/15000) brushed to the third panel and was handy winner to be one of three Belcher scores on the day and a repeat seems probable.
