Pocono: Horses to watch from Nov. 7 - Nov. 11

Ken Walters|Nov 14, 2015

Saturday, November 7

IDEAL CANIDATE (CLM15000) closed well but a few steps too late. Well connected late closer will be a force in next race or two.

DOUBLE DRIBBLE (CLMHCP10/125000) game winner took a tuck, got a shuffle, pulled, chased, tucked pocket in the final bend and came on gamest. Gotta like three move winners.

MADEWELL HANOVER (NW175000) closed stoutly at 13-1 in last picking off foes with every step and just missed.

MICKEY HANOVER (NW23000) closed deceptively well in last and has a license to find the winners circle in next race or two.

R CAAN (NW9500) closed wide and well in last to be second on both the board and the track.

Tuesday, November 10

B WELL (NW3/2-4YO) tucked twice along the way, rallied to the lead heading home at 56-1 when the pacesetting favorite broke but was nipped on the wire by the fresher legs of the second favorite.

JL BILL (NW1/2-4YO) rallied wide in the final turn around tired cover and closed well but was outfinished by the rousing rally of the winner.

MILLVILLE ROAD (NW3/2-4YO) put in a game uncovered bid only to get nailed by the second over late rally of the foe he had escorted to the lane.

MUSCLES MY WAY (NW1FM) was on the lead quickly, set the pace under pressure and dug in gamely while tiring. Next time she is tighter and a winner.

Wednesday, November 11

CURRENT CRISIS (BILLINGS) was used all out wide in the final turn as cover was rallying to the lead, kept coming in game effort and can be counted on to give a good account in next.

TOP BRAND (NW9500M) had too far to come in last but closed wide and strong over another Pocono speed favoring track.

FLYHAWK EL DURADO (NW8500) was out a long way, chased the favorite pacesetter uncovered and tired.

KEYSTONE WANDA (NW13000FM) was used hard to gain the lead, met pressure and tired. A better trip or time to breathe will get her home on top.
