Saturday, May 29

VALIANT IVY (CLMHCP20/25000) was buried on the rail, angled out late in the final turn, rallied strongly and just missed.

NEWBIE (CLMHCP125/15000) went to the top and proved second best to the uncovered favorite.

BELL I NO (CLMHCP30/40000) tucked early, improved by the final turn, tippped, rallied gamely but just missed the red-hot winner.

TOOKADIVEOFFDIPPER (NW9800) got away well, yielded and was shuffled back, rallied uncovered, challenged and was used to the top, dug in but tired and was nailed.

Sunday, May 30

REDHOT ROMEO (CLM10000) rallied strongest from 3rd over but ran out of track.

BAGS TO RICHES (NW3000) followed wide the final turn with game finish but just missed.

JACK RULES (NW3000) dropped and wired the field in a romp. Should be able to take another.

BETTER B ROLLING (CLM7500) settled, brushed with a huge 3/4 move, got away and despited tiring was an impressive winner.

Monday, May 31

TRUFFLES TOO (STALLION) was parked and grinded to the lead, yielded to the favorite, rallied gamely and just missed at 18-1.

JAM THAT GUITAR (NW1) was nowhere until the final turn, wheeled wide and finished strong at 42-1 to just miss.

CAPTAIN COREY (PaSS) wired the field impressively in season debut.

DELAYED HANOVER and JOHAN PALEMA (PaSS) stablemates battled for the win last out and both bear watching.

Tuesday, June 1

ROLL ON MAMA (NW4FM) returned to Pocono and was an impressive winner for leading trainer and the 3YO should earn some more checks.

BUDDY HILL (NW3000) returned from Yonkers, let the speed settle, pulled, brushed and crushed drawing off through the lane.

IM A GIGOLO N (W4-7) left well to the top,yielded and was shuffled, sat third on the rail, cleared and rallied game but flattened a bit nearing the wire.

CANT SAY NO (W4-7) yielded, retook and dug in but was nailed by strong move on the 2nd-over favorite.

YANKEE GIRLFRIEND (W4-7) rushed up with strong uncovered move and challenged but tired to finish 3rd in the photo.
