BENJIS BEST (NW6000) brushed to the half, set a fast last two panels and got nailed by the pocket-sitting winner. Beaten favorite should not be ignored in next.
ILBENEEDINSTITCHES (W4-7) was used to the lead, set a pressed pace and was caught late by the pocket sitting tripped-out winner.
CODE CRACKER (NW4000) closed well from third over and bears watching.
BULLVILLE FRANK (MW4000) had no shot from far back 4th over but finished full of pace and could surprise with better trip.
SPORTY M THREE (W4-7) found room into the lane with fast finish to just miss. Trainer and driver are both always a factor.
JACKS LEGEND N (NW20000) wired the field in fast mile and drew off in the lane. Can take another.
Sunday, May 28
CAPTAIN UP (NW1) wired the field impressively and should give it another try in next.
MOTLEY RAY (NW1) well-bet second choice rallied 4-wide to clear traffic the final turn with good finish to be second best to the top one.
SIRI BLUE CHIP (NW4500M) brushed to the lead coming to the half and was a handy winner.
NO CIGAR TONY (NW1FM) brushed from the three hole the final turn and pulled away easily.
HUNGRY FOR MONEY (NW1FM) rallied wide the final turn and passed all but the winner. Should find her winning spot soon.
Monday, May 29
BAR KEEP DE VIE (NW1) odds-on favorite was an impressive wire to wire winner and can take more.
PRAIRIE FAMOUS (NW1) closed strongly from third over last time out and should be one to fear in next.
CHEROKEE JOY (NW2FM) was third over the final turn clearing a quitting foe, ducked to the rail into the lane and finished with good speed.
RUNHAPPY TEN (CLM7500) was a game second on the board and on the track to the winning favorite in last.
WAL STREET LADY (NW1FM) well-bet miss made an early move to the lead, met last quarter pressure and gamed out her maiden score.
Tuesday, May 30
CAPTAIN WHO (NW1) left quickly to the top at 22-1, yielded to the odds-on favorite, chase to the end but was second in the photo.
CHING CHING LUCKY (NW6300) beaten favorite had too far to come from third over but could fix that in next with better trip.
QUEBEC HANOVER (NW2) well-connected 3YO left in last, broke and was parked uncovered, challenged to the final turn before tiring and would be no surprise in next race or two.
PURE HOPE S (NW4) wired the field drawing off in first start of the year.
EMIRA MIL IT (NW4) prohibitive favorite exploded out of the pocket to the third panel and won impressively.
