Ken Walters|May 17, 2024

Saturday, May 11

OAKWOOD PADDY IR (NW17500) tipped into the lane, finished full of pace to be second to the winning favorite.

WOMEN LAYER (PaStars) put away final turn pressure in front-stepping win in his division.

FEARFUL INTENT (NW13500) sat last to the lane, flashed some good late foot and might get it done soon.

SOLID CHARACTER (PaStars) sat pocket and won going away as the leader broke.

JOEY (NW6499) sat to the rear, closed late and passed a bunch of foes.

ARMADA HANOVER (PaStars) tipped the final turn, ducked in around a done foe, finished fast and ran out of track.

Sunday, May 12

SPY CRAFT (NW1) brushed to the lead to the third panel and was much the best.

TEXAS HOLDEM (NW1) yielded twice and was second best to the top one in good try.

FOX VALLEY PATRIOT (CLMHCP20/25000) sat to the final turn, tipped into a blindswitch, found room late with good finish.

LILLBLISS (NW2) went down the road and was a confident winner in quick time for the class.

Monday, May 13

SEMINOLE MOON (NW4) beaten favorite was out to the third call, closed with speed but a step too late.

BLOW A CLOUD N (CLMHCP10/12500) took the lead, yielded and was shuffled, sat in traffic through the lane. Rare to see all 8 horses this close at the wire.

NAKED COWBOY (NW1) went to the lead, set own clip and was a much the best winner.

BERNARDIN (NW2) was parked the mile, grinded up, chased the speed to the lane, tired heading home.

SUPER DUPER COPPER (NW4) came uncovered the final turn and won going away in easy fashion.

Tuesday, May 14

EBONY LADY (NW4FM) rushed up uncovered, challenged the pacesetting odds-on favorite but tired into the lane. Could be tighter in next race or two.

LYRICAL GENIUS A (NW4400) set a good clip, gave way to the pocket horse but was second best at nearly 17-1.

BEACH COWGIRL (NW12501M) yielded, retook met last-quarter pressure but was a handy speed winner and can take more.

SWEET N FAST N (CLM7500) rallied uncovered to the third panel at nearly 20-1 and closed with good energy to get up for 2nd to the pacesetting prohibitive favorite.
