Saturday, March 20
CHAMPAGNE ON ICE (NW4) left, tucked, brushed to the top as the speed settled and was a handy winner.
HALLS OF VALOR (NW4) yielded twice, sat pocket and was second best to impressive winner in first race of the year.
HORSING AROUND (CLMHCP30/40000) was wide but too late in strong rush to the wire. Maybe next time.
PEACE OUT POSSE (NW9000) tucked early, brushed and crushed in eye-popping romp.
TULLOW N (CLMHCP30/40000) tucked early, slipped out heading home, cleared and came on strong through the stretch to just miss.
ITSONLYROCNROLLA (CLMHCP125/15000) was third over, finished with strong pace to get up for second to the pace-setting favorite.
Sunday, March 21
STICK WITH CRAMER (CLM10000) was parked to the top, met some pressure the last quarter but drew off impressively.
THISISHE (NW6000) yielded, retook, put away modest pressure and won looking like she had more in the tank.
SPRINGBRIDGE PROUD (CLM7500) rallied wide from the back of the pack to be second best.
NARINA HANOVER (NW4FM) beaten favorite had far to come to be second at the wire.
DONT CALLMEFRANCIS (CLM7500) went down the road putting away stubborn pressure and drew off.
Monday, March 22
TOP ME OFF (NW1) yielded, retook and never looked back in nearly 10 length romp in season debut.
CLARION HALL (CLAIMS) sat to the rear to the final turn, rallied wide from third over at 36-1. Got up for fourth and earns a look in next.
CAPTAIN MCKEE (NW3000) tucked early, rushed up uncovered to the third panel, challenged the pacesetting favorite but was held at bay. Move could get better results in next.
ROUTHLAND (NW2) was parked to the lead, met last-quarter pressure, dug in very game but was nipped by the tripped-out pocket-sitter.
HULOU (NW2) tucked, sat the rail, found clearance and rallied best of all but just missed.
