POACHER N (CLMHCP20/25000) wired the field at even money in first race of the season and should be even tighter in next.

ON THE SLY (NW3000) was three wide in the final turn from third over and rallied gamely but it was little too much to ask. Beaten favorite can get it done in next.

HERE COMES SWIFTLY (NW3000) was parked the mile, challenged, got looped to the lead passing the third panel, tucked the pocket when it opened, rallied gamely to the end but tired.

MASTER OF PUPPETS (CLM12500) left and broke, sat to the rear, put on a strong last panel and closed for third but was taken down for interference while on a break. Has enough to nail a win soon.

Sunday, April 1

PHOTO BOMBER (WEISS) went down the road at 28-1 last and dug in but tired in 1st leg action.

THATS MY OPINION (NW3000) second favorite was on the lead, met pressure the last quarter and was second best to the favorite.

TOSS CARTWRIGHT (NW3000) had poor cover and was wide the final turn, rallied gamely but had too far to come.

TOUR DE LINDY (NW6) wired the field in handy fashion and can take another.

Tuesday, April 3

NO EXCUSES (NW4) certainly had one in last getting parked the mile with a relentless challenge before tiring.

VORST (NW13500M) left, tucked at 7-1, pulled to the half, challenged the pacesetting prohibitive favorite to the lane and tired.

ROCKLINDAROCK (NW13500M) wheeled wide in a blur in the final turn closing stoutly form back of the pack.

SIMPLY VOLO (NW9000) trailed, roared home from 5th over and will be heard from soon but not at 40-1.
