VERDAD (NW3000) rolled 4 wide in the final turn and strong to be second best. Should be tough in next race or two.

WALKS OF LIFE (CLMHCP125/15000) rolled along at a good clip to score in last and is sharp enough to be a repeat winner.

MAJOR TRICK (CLMHCP15/20000) was strong uncovered in last and romped home leaving no doubt he will win again.

IDEAL ROCKY (NW125000) came wide with a flourish and just missed as the tripped-out pocket sitting favorite took it by a nose.

Tuesday, March 20

SUNSET OVER MIAMI (NW1) got to the top in first outing of the season, rated to the half, faced pressure from there to the end, dug in gamely putting away the challenger but was nailed in the last steps by the fast-closing monster winner. Should win a few here and there.

GUNSLINGER HILL (NW1) even-money favorite and first time starter sat to the rear to the final turn, swung wide, closed a ton and caught the win with quick finish.

LAKEVIEW TAMMY (NW3000) swung wide, made up big ground at 10-1 and will be heard from.

SPRING CRUISE (NW3000FM) angled clear late, rolled home and just missed. Should be along in time next race or two.

WHITE BLISS (NW3000) had poor cover but strong finish and earns a long look in next for barn that usually wins on a regular basis.
