Pocono: Horses to watch from June 7 - June 10

Ken Walters|Jun 14, 2015

Sunday, June 7

GALARINA (CLM15000FM) took a tuck, got the shuffle to third, pulled uncovered and put in a credible effort for 3rd place finish.

MUSCLESPRINCTONIAN (CLM11000) charged home gamely from third over to nail it on the wire. Late closing favorite will be heard from again.

GHOST HOUSE (CLM10000) put in a good down the road effort in lsat only to be nailed by the odds on favorite.

ALEXIS STYLE (NW3000) won form the pocket as he pleased in last. Barn was competitive all day Sunday and needs to be considered.

Tuesday, June 9

ITS OUTTA HERE (NW4500) made a bold wide move passing stalled cover, took over the top near the third panel, opened up but tired. The move was there, the timing might have been better.

STONEBRIDGE FORCE (NW1) went down the road quite easily done while much the best.

MADHATTER BLUECHIP (NW1/2-3YO) came uncovered, challenged, roared away when the leader broke.

PASADENA START (NW7000) made a long wide move in the last turn and closed well but the winner was too much.

WALK THE FLOOR (NW2) sat to the final turn, came out third over, went wide, finished with a full head of steam but had too far to come.

Wednesday, June 10

OVERANDOVERVICTORY (NW4500) beaten favorite was gasping in the pocket chasing speedy winner and gets a pass. Can atone quickly.

THE BEACH NEXTDOOR (NW7100M) was a prohibitive favorite pacesetter who looked like a winner until the last steps. Speed was not holding as well as usual so do not ignore this one in next.

CAVIART SHELLY (NW15000FM) held well in down the road victory last time and can take another.

GIVEITTOMESTAIGHT (CLMHCP125/15000M) was on the rail and shuffled in the final turn, tipped, found a route, rallied but too late.

CLORIS HANOVER (NW10000M) was the easiest of wire to wire winners well wrapped up through the lane in last and should take another.

AMANDEROSA (NW1FM) was in the three hole heading home, tipped for a moment, saw a route inside, ducked in and closed stoutly to win going away.
