Pocono: Horses to watch from June 4 - June 7

Ken Walters|Jun 09, 2022

Saturday, June 4

PAT MCGARRY A (W4-7) was one of four winners on the card for barn that wins on a reguar basis.

SOMEBADDUDEE (NW9000) was the fourth of the four winners for same barn and all bear watching in next week or two wherever they race.

STORM IS RAGING (W4-7) tucked early, brushed to the third call and was a handy winner for another oft-winning barn.

ULTIMAROCA (NW17500) stablemate of the above was fast to the lead, yielded, retook and was a handing winner. Coincidentally, all of the horses mentioned toady were driven by same driver.

Sunday, June 5

OWEN (CLMHCP20/25000) was four wide the final turn and rallied gamely to be second best with 3rd place far back.

BAPTISM (PaStars) was out quickly, yielded, got shuffed a bit, brushed and crushed.

BRONZE OVER N (NW9700M) trailed, finished fast and bears watching.

MANON (PaStars) was a handy wire to wire winner putting away a brief last-turn challenger.

Monday, June 6

SWEET HEART AS (NW6700) was parked to the quarter, put away final turn pressure and was a handy winner reined by young and talented driver.

EXTRORDINARYLADY S (NW2FM) sat pocket and defeated co-favorite with strong rally. Barn always wins fair share of races so never disregard.

BANZAI AS (NW6700) tucked early, raced long uncovered, challenged to the end but was second best to the pacesetting favorite.

MUSCLE DYNASTY (NW4) closed well from second over. Beaten favorite just missed and can correct that in next.

Tuesday, June 7

ABRUZZO (NW1) was uncovered in latest and won going away. Can take another one.

WILLTOWIN HANOVER(NW2FM) had an open lead in speedy effort but was nailed on the wire. Beaten favorite can atone.

EASY RIDER (NWW) tucked to the quarter, raced uncovered, challenged the last panel but was second best.

STYLE FOR A MILE (NW1FM) tucked, brushed and was an impressive winner in last outing.
