BENJIS BEST (CLMHCP30/40000) was second over, lost cover, rallied gamely and was clearly second best while also second best on the board.
J M MANDAMIN (NW12000) put up a good time in front-end score and may take another.
BELLOWS BINGE (NW4400) wired the field in handy effort and would be hard to catch in next.

ATORITOTELL (NW2500M) finished full of pace from third over but it was too late. Beaten favorite can get it done in next.
RAKSMACH N (CLM10000) rallied wide in last effort to be second best at nearly 8-1.
LIMA RAIDER (CLM7500) came uncoverfed at over 20-1 and challenged the pacesetting favorite, had aim but was nailed by the pockesitting second choice.
BRINGITONHOME N (CLM7500) was in traffic when it counted and should be considered in next.
JEREMES GENERAL (CLM7500) was nailed in the late moments in front-stepping effort and the beaten favorite can atone.
Monday, August 2
LUISELLA (NW2/2YOF) brushed to the lead as the speed settled and was a handy winner for second score in two efforts.
RHEIA ROSE (NW2/2YOF) was first to the lead, yielded and sat pocket to be second best in solid effort.
GRACE AND FAVOR (NW1) yielded, retook and was handy wire to wire upset winner in debut.
MAGIC VACATION (NW6500) was impressive down the road winner in last outing looking to have plenty left.
SIMPLY VOLO (NW6500) trotter had to go wide in the final turn but closed well.

CAPSAICINN (NW4FM) was a game three-move second to the odds-on favorite in last and should score soon.
P L NOTSONICE (W4-7) was parked in a grind to the lead and was a handy winner.
JM BETONSIX (NW1FM) tucked twice finishing late up the rail. Beaten favorite should atone in next.
SPIT AND VINEGAR (NW2FM) flashed solid late speed from third over was too late. Beaten favorite deserves another chance in next.
ONE AFTER NINE (NW2) followed the winner second-over and was a game second best.
